Successful FEI competitor and USDF Silver Medalist, Shaun Myers has been involved in the local northwest dressage community for many years. Shaun started as an eventer and came up the ranks in her local Pony Club. At the age of 15, Shaun began to concentrate her focus on dressage and discovered her deep passion for it. Together with her partner Insight, she competed for Region 6 in the Young Rider's Championships. It was a tremendous experience and learning opportunity, and further reinforced Shaun's desire for CDI and National competitions. In 2004, Shaun established SKM Dressage, serving the east and south Puget Sound areas. Shaun consistently strives to further her own abilities in effort to better serve her clients and her own personal growth. She has developed many horses into Grand Prix horses, bringing most of them along from young, lower level horses. As well as being an active trainer Shaun is also working on her own campaigning goals with her personal equine partners. Shaun has cliniced extensively with Christine Traurig and Raphael Heiligers, in addition to many other notable Olympic and renowned clinicians. She strives to not only be a dedicated and conscientous trainer and instructor, but to also continue to learn and develop herself and her horses as better and better athletes and competitiors.
Shaun works out of a premier training facility in Auburn, WA, Tower Lane Farms. There she is able to take in horses for full time training, as well as continue her successful lesson program with superior schoolmasters. Currently, the SKM Team consists of almost 35 riders and horses who successfully ride and compete with Shaun. Shaun Myers currently has openings for full and part time training horses and lessons.
